SQL

Learning SQL Opens the Door to the World of Computer Science and Data-Driven Technology

Whether you're just beginning to code or looking to expand your knowledge of computer science, learning SQL is an excellent choice.

SQL is easy to read and write, with a syntax that is more accessible than many procedural languages. This makes it one of the best foundational subjects for new coders. And because data plays a central role in nearly every industry, SQL skills are always in demand.

As a core technology in both legacy systems and cutting-edge innovations, SQL unlocks a lifetime of interdisciplinary opportunities—especially when learned early.

From data science and software engineering to business analysis, some of the world's most impactful careers begin with the foundational knowledge you'll gain in this SQL class. Don’t wait—enroll today!

Robotics with Ozobots

Programming Robots with Coloring Markers

In this engaging class, students will discover that coding isn’t limited to screens and keyboards—it’s about creating solutions using logic, imagination, and precision.

Using Ozobots—small, sensor-equipped robots—students will learn to program by drawing color-coded patterns on paper with markers. This unique, hands-on approach introduces fundamental coding concepts while fostering essential 21st-century skills like problem-solving and computational thinking.

Class takeaway: a deeper understanding of how technology can be both creative and accessible.

Robotics (with Ozobots)
Robotics (with Ozobots)
  • Grades 1-5
  • This class introduces students to the basics of robotics and coding using small, programmable robots called Ozobots. In this hands-on, interactive class, students learn to use color-coded markers before they pivot to block-based programming to give commands to their Ozobots, fostering skills in problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity. This class includes challenges and activities where students guide their robots through mazes, complete tasks, or simulate real-world scenarios, making it a fun and engaging way to explore computer science concepts.

SQL Level 1
SQL Level 1
  • Grades 4-12
  • In this unit, students will begin by learning the fundamentals of creating tables and inserting data into rows. They will also explore how to retrieve data using the SELECT statement in combination with the ORDER BY and WHERE clauses. In the second half of the unit, students will dive into aggregate functions, logical and arithmetic operators, and learn how to update existing data in a table.
